Oboe Measurement Setup

With the measurement setup you can measure the thickness on any position of your gouged cane or profiled reed. The measurement lip has a length scale so you can repeat measurements on the same position. Under the dial indicator point the measurement lip has a ball so the measurement is exactly under the dial indicator. Besides this, the ball makes the angular alignment of the gouged cane or profiled reed less critical.

With the lever you can easily lift the measurement point with one hand so your other hand is free to position the gouged cane or profiled reed. The dial indicator can be set under an angle so you have an ergonomic view on the dial indicator. With 1 screw you can assemble or disassemble the base plate. When the base plate is disassembled the measurement setup fits in the small product box.
